Taylor Mountain
A rugged backcountry route with big views of the Tetons and a quieter experience than nearby Glory.
Taylor Mountain rises just north of Teton Pass and offers a wilder, more remote alternative to Glory. The hike follows a mix of forest road and alpine ridge, with wildflowers in early summer and broad views stretching across the valley. Itβs a favorite for seasoned hikers and backcountry skiers looking for solitude and an all-day adventure. Bring plenty of water and expect to encounter wildlife β this is prime moose and bear country.
